M.A.D.I.S.O.N Lauched their latest album " Diary of our days" last Saturday Night and Global Onlslaught were there to see them live on stage performing.
After what can only be described as "a magical mystery tour" to find the venue we finally arrived on a chilly March night in Telford, Shropshire, UK.
Many had gathered under special invitation by the band, to witness, for the first time, all 11 tracks from the album and they (including myself) were in for a treat of a night, not being left to be dissapointed.
I have to say, my experience of this band so far, has been limited to videos and recorded peformances. It is not until you see them live you get a real appreciation of this entertaining spectacle as the members of M.A.D.I.S.O.N rock out from beginning to end. They had paid exceptional attention to detail prior to performing, great merchandise, CD's ready for sale and great backdrop's and displays.
But the fancy frills didn't stop there as they belted out "Gimme Some More", the 1st track of the album, a real crowd pleaser, and it didnt end there, 10 tracks later they even threw a couple of covers in to keep us in the party mood, excellently executed versions of Marc Bolan's "20th Century Boy" and my absolute favorite Fleetwood Mac number " The Chain", avoiding a direct copy and giving that M.A.D.I.S.O.N polish and shine.
I would certainly reccomend going to see this band live although until you are lucky enough to get to see them the album is the next best thing. Pick yourself a copy up and take a listen to "DIary Of our Days" now available.
